...THE RESULT WAS NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING!

Before I put my house on the market I wanted to feel confident in my mind that I had done everything I possibly could to present it to the best of its ability. But I knew I needed someone with expertise and creative flair to look at the house and garden through fresh eyes to see where improvements could be made to enhance what was already here. This is when I called Abi at Kärlek to help me and I was not disappointed. She has an amazing eye for colour and just knows how to put things together, the rooms in the house were rearranged with my existing furniture and ornaments, plus I used the Kärlek Home Staging Enhancement package, where she bought in several specially selected key pieces of furniture and accessories, mixing them beautifully with my own and the result was nothing short of amazing, my home looked so stylish and beautiful and absolutely popped! It took three weeks to get the house ready and it was a pretty full on process particularly the de-cluttering but I am glad that I listened to her advice as the end result was stunning! "My world has quite a lot of stress in it,” hardly sounds like the beginning of a good conversation with anyone, but when I made that statement to Abi of Kärlek Interior Design she responded with such warm sincerity I immediately felt calmed and reassured, and certainly ready to engage in further conversation with her. Amazingly, we had our first consultation at our home within four hours of my initial contact. Impressive!!

I liked Abi immediately and her Dress to Sell concept fitted our needs. She advised us that, while our home was very well presented, there were areas she believed could be enhanced within a relatively small budget and the time frame we had. Essentially we had a renovated home with an office which required painting before being turned back into a bedroom. So, our partially decorated home was really a future sale prospect not one ready for the market we now wanted to enter within a month. We were very happy with arrangements as discussed between Abi and us, including the fact we wanted to keep living in our home while the Dressing to Sell was progressing, then had to inform Abi we had one week less than we had initially thought to get our home ready for market. And that is where Abi’s experience, expertise, eye for detail and work ethic came into its own. She was inspiring.

From our first consultation Abi enthusiastically managed the vision she had  for our home.  Once in the process of creating this vision Abi was a whirlwind who had an amazing sense of purpose and flair. She has gone above and beyond to exceed our expectations and worked energetically to get our house ready. She arranged painters, engaged an exciting art service, provided a few extra pieces of staging furniture because we had already transferred our large furniture items to our beach property where we intend to live permanently. And just when I needed to start thinking about it, Abi organised cleaners to come in the lead up to our auction. Bliss. Stress gone! 

Abi and her team have delivered everything we wanted, stress-free and on time,  and they were willing to work with us to tweak even the smallest detail. Because of Abi’s transparent communication we felt decidedly involved in the process from start to finish, and so this has felt like a wonderful team effort with a lot of fun and joy. When the finishing touches of specially grown plants in big tubs, greenery for the rooms and fresh flowers were delivered just as the UP Team came in for their publicity shoot, I knew working with Abi had been the perfect way to begin the end of our relationship with this house which has been our home for 21 years. I’m so happy to have met Abi Wisnewski from Kärlek Design. My husband and I engaged Abi Wisnewski to assist us with staging our home for the purpose of selling. She was punctual, arriving when she said she would, which is important when we all live such busy lives. Abi provided us with an “overall view” of what we were trying to achieve, and suggested ideas usually backed up by examples so we could actually see the item or product, which I personally found helpful. She suggested cost effective changes which were practical, and arranged for all of the furniture to be delivered and installed, which was a huge time saver for us. Abi worked with our tradesmen so things were carried out seamlessly. She has a great sense of style, but listened ( very patiently!) to mine and has strong eye for detail. Abi helped me towards the end of my renovation but I wish I had involved her from the start. The first value add she offered was to suggest the builder create an attic in the roof as she could see the space, but the Architect had not! This has turned out to be a Godsend, and without it I would have struggled with storage in my villa! Abi’s creative flair, knowledge, and follow up are fantastic, she made a huge difference to the end result in my home and I highly recommend her. On top of that Abi is a wonderful, wise and kind individual and a pleasure to work with.
